Description

The step between the wash and the brush, done properly.

The Cosy Cloak is 100% cotton, so it draws moisture out of the coat while keeping the warmth in — your dog dries steadily without getting cold, which is the difference between a relaxed dog and one doing zoomies round the kitchen.

The high turtleneck keeps the neck warm and pulls up into a soft hood to help dry damp ears. An adjustable chest strap keeps it where it should be.

We stock it in XXS to L.

Why we picked it

Drying is a coat-care step, not an afterthought. A coat left damp is a coat that tangles, smells and takes longer to brush out — this is the step that sits between your FurFix shampoo and your FurFix brush, and it makes both of them work better.

How to use
  1. Squeeze the excess water out of the coat with your hands after washing.
  2. Put the robe on while the coat is still damp and fasten the chest strap.
  3. Pull the turtleneck up over the ears if they are wet.
  4. Leave it on while the coat dries, then brush out as usual.
Perfect for
  • After bath time, straight after the rinse
  • Coming home from wet or muddy walks
  • Thick or double coats that take an age to dry
  • Dogs who hate the towel

Measure your dog before you choose — these are the garment’s measurements, not your dog’s.

Top tip

Measure your dog rather than going by weight — a slim dog and a stocky one of the same weight need different sizes. Chest is measured behind the front legs at the widest part of the ribcage; back length from the base of the neck to the base of the tail.
